My Fluffy Brownies (NOT VG)
Hmm a yummy dense brownie with a warm cup of tea or coffee? YES PLEASE SIGN ME UP!.. “Oh wait, I’m trying to be good" 🙁 NOPE, Kath has got you covered!! Incoming my Fluffy Brownie recipe. Unfortunately this recipe is not vegan 🙁 - I’m working on perfecting a fluffy brownie without the eggs for all my vegan kiddies BUT this recipe is diary, gluten and refine sugar-free. Hope you enjoy.
YOU WIL NEED
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 cup of buckwheat flour
- 1 cup of cacao powder
- 1 cup of maple syrup/rice malt syrup
- 1/2 of almond/coconut milk
- Pinch of baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
Crack eggs into a mixing bowl. using an electric beater, beat for 2 minutes.
Once eggs are fluffy add in your buckwheat flour, cacao powder, almond milk , maple/rice malt syrup, salt and baking soda. Beat again.
Taste test too see if sweetness is to your liking. Nope? Add more syrup Or 1/2 cup of soaked mashed dates.
Pour into a lined baking tin and cook for 25 minutes.
Leave to cool for 10, cut into brownies slices and get ready for the time of your life!
YOU WILL NEED:
- 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate
Melt and leave too cool.
Pour on top of brownies and leave to set in fridge.
