GF Paleo Granola
Who here loves a their granola?!… *hand rises*. Granola was one of my first health discoveries as I’m sure it would be of many of you guys too BUT be warned, many of our store bought granola's can be filled with nasties we don’t want. SO for this reason I love inventing new and tasty recipes for everyone to try. I have many granola recipes lying around on my website BUT I realised none without oats. So if you are gluten intolerant or just feel like being a little different listen up!
WHAT I LIKE TO PAIR MY GRANOLA WITH?
- Smoothie bowls
Cmon this is the best combo in the world.. a nice thick smoothie with good-old fashioned granola on top! YUM.
- With almond milk and fresh fruit
This is honestly one of favourite quick and simply meals I like to have in the morning or as a snack.
Cut up some fresh banana, strawberries in a bowl, put a big chunk of granola sitting in your cupboard from Sunday’s cooking sagar with almond milk poured all over.. YES. Now thats a Kath past time right there! Give it a go 🙂
- As a lunch box snack
I love just baggy a little bit and putting it in my bag to snack on the go! So good as a quick pick-me-up you can eat anywhere at anytime.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 Cup of buckwheat groats
- 1/2 Cup of pumpkin seeds
- 1 Cup of coconut flakes
- 1/4 Cup of goji berries
- 1/2 Cup crushed nuts of choice
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
Place all dry ingredients into a bowl and combine.
Pour in maple syrup and stir together in till everything is coated.
Pop in oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take out and toss around. Put inside for another 5- minutes.
Take out and leave to cool for 15 while it goes nice and crunchy!
