Home-Made Flatbread Pizza

OH MY LAWWD! This recipe is beyond simple with such an effect. Ive been trying to come up with a easy pizza base recipe for you all, so when I created this boy was I excited to share it.

This recipe is super versatile, cheap, easy and HEALTHY! Win, win, win!! You can eat it on its own with a dip of choice, have it as bread with a meal or do what I’ve done here and make pizza!

For the Flatbread..

YOU WILL NEED:

(makes 2)

  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 cups of almond milk
METHOD:

Ground oats into a flour. Place into a mixing bowl along with your almond milk and combined well.

Cook dough on a hot pan into flatbread is formed.

OPTIONAL: If you are planning to turn the flatbread into a pizza you may add ingredients in order to compliment the recipe. For example something savoury? Add more salt, pepper and herbs. Sweet? Maybe some rice malt syrup, honey or stevia!

For the savoury pizza…

YOU WILL NEED:

ALL TOPPINGS ARE OPTIONAL AND UP TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

  • Tomato paste
  • Button mushrooms
  • Spinach
  • Pumpkin
  • Pink salt
METHOD

Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius. Once you have made your flatbread assembly all pizza ingredients on top and cook for 20 minutes.

For the sweet pizza…

YOU WILL NEED:

ALL TOPPINGS ARE OPTIONAL AND UP TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE

  • 4 square of 80-90% dark chocolate
  • 1 tbs of rice malt syrup
  • 1/2 banana
  • 3 fresh strawberries
  • Crushed nuts

Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius (cooking this recipe is optional). Pop dark chocolate into microwave or hot stove for 1 minute. Add in your rice malt syrup and heat for another 30 seconds. Stir well into paste is formed.

Assemble pizza and cook for 5-10 minutes.
