CARDIO PILATES Inspired Workout!

Lately I've been trying to mix up my usually high intensity training sessions with some pilates toning work and i've been loving it! 

 So much so I fused the both to bring you this fun yet effective workout.

 Get ready to sweat and be sore.. in a good way! 🙂 

CIRCUIT ONE: LOWER BODY

EQUIPMENT: Ankle weights & jump rope.

EXERCISE ONE: Jump rope x1 minute

EXERCISE TWO: Jump squats x20

EXERCISE THREE: Walking lunges with knee drives x15 each way

EXERCISE FOUR: Right leg donkey kicks x20 with pulse’s x20

EXERCISE FIVE: Left leg donkey kicks x20 with pulse’s x20

EXERCISE SIX: Plank butt lifts x15 each side

EXERCISE SEVEN: Leg lifts in hip bridge x12 with pulses x15 each side

Repeat circuit for THREE rounds.

CIRCUIT TWO: UPPER BODY

EQUIPMENT: Skipping rope, dumbells (2-5kg)

EXERCISE ONE: Jump rope x1 minute

EXERCISE TWO: Push up burpees x10

EXERCISE THREE: Bicep dumbbell push outs x15 with pulse x20

EXERCISE FOUR: Tricep kickbacks x20 each arm

EXERCISE FIVE: Dumbbell fly’s into press x15

EXERCISE SIX: Dumbbell back row in plank position x30

Repeat circuit for THREE rounds.

CIRCUIT THREE: CORE

EQUIPMENT: N/A

EXERCISE ONE: Mountain climbers x40

EXERCISE TWO: Side plank holds x1 minute

EXERCISE THREE: Side plank holds x1 minute

EXERCISE FOUR: Forearm plank x1 minute

Repeat Circuit TWICE
